Telling a story with photographs has been my profession and passion and for over 27 years. After thirteen years working as a staff photographer at News Limited and another fifteen as a freelance magazine photographer. I now run a small photography business working with Australian and International organizations and magazines. My experience is photographing people, on location, across the spectrum of life, contemporary environmental portrait and documentary. On some assignments I now make some video along side my still photographs for multimedia purposes. I was fortunate to have received awards at the World Press Photo in Science and Technology and the Environment in the years 2003, 2001 and 1999. My largest body of photography work to date is in preventable blindness in the developing world. I have worked with Nepalese ophthalmic visionary, Dr Sanduk Ruit in Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, India and North Korea. I was fortunate to be the principal photographer for the book "Seeing is Believing" based on the work of another activist and visionary Australian Professor Fred Hollows. When I am not working I like to throw myself in the ocean, cook up an Indian Curry and hang out with my wife and two daughters. ALL THE IMAGES ON THIS WEBSITE ARE COPYRIGHT PROTECTED.
